DFM closes Monday higher; ADX falls

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 27.10 points (0.64%) on Monday and ended the trading session at 4,210.96 points.

A total of 129.02 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 312.70 million.

Emaar Properties registered the highest turnover of AED 79.12 million, while Al Ansari Financial Services was the most active stock with 18.71 million shares.

National Industries Group Holding topped the gainers with 14.91%, whereas Emirates Investment Bankled the fallers with 5.73%.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) fell by 0.213% to 9,324.19 points.

The turnover amounted to AED 885.62 million after 166.42 million shares were exchanged during the session, whereas the market cap value stood at AED 2.85 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 203.26 million, while Multiply Group dominated the trading volume with 22.72 million shares.

Fujairah Cement Industries Company led the risers with 8.82%, whereas Ooredoo headed the decliners with 7.71%.
