DFM, ADX close Wednesday with collective decline

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) lost 22.37 points (0.52%) on Wednesday and ended the trading session lower at 4,254.99 points.

DFM’s trading value hit AED 456.83 million through the exchange of 159.46 million shares.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 100.25 million.

Takaful Emarat, which led the risers with 11.87%, was the most active stock with 21.62 million shares. Amanat Holdings headed the losers with 3.63%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) edged down by 0.119% to 9,389.09 points.

The turnover reached AED 1.25 billion after 576.12 million shares were exchanged, whereas the market cap value stood at AED 2.86 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 208.19 million.

Dana Gas, which dominated the trading volume with 225.45 million shares, advanced the gainers with 12.76%. Meanwhile, Bank of Sharjah led the fallers with 9.89%.
