DFM, ADX close Wednesday up

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) increased by 4.17 points (0.09%) on Wednesday and ended the trading session at 4,223.48 points.

A total of 143.62 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 478.69 million.

In addition to recording the highest turnover of AED 191.22 million, Emaar Properties was the most active stock with 23.82 million shares.

National International Holding led the gainers with 14.03%, while Islamic Arab Insurance Company headed the decliners with 4.51%.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also went up by 0.468% to 9,395.03 points.

The turnover reached AED 1.02 billion after 232.15 million shares were exchanged, whereas the market cap value stood at AED 2.86 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 198.14 million, while Eshraq Investments dominated the trading volume with 20.86 million shares.

ESG Emirates Stallions Group topped the risers with 14.84%, whereas Fujairah Cement Industries Company led the fallers with 8.11%.
