DFM, ADX close Monday in red zone

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) lost 21.70 points (0.54%) and ended Monday’s trading session at 3.943.35 points.

DFM's turnover hit AED 433.44 million through the exchange of 173.87 million shares.

Emaar Properties witnessed the highest turnover of AED 127.32 million.

Shuaa Capital, which topped the fallers with 6.34%, dominated the trading volume with 32.80 million shares. 

Orascom Construction led the risers with 9.56%. 

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended the session in the red zone after retreating by 0.041% to 9,479.09 points.

A total of 172.61 million shares were traded at a value of AED 925.54 million, while the market cap value reached AED 2.84 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover of AED 220.75 million, whereas Multiply Group was the most active stock with 24.79 million shares.

Aram Group advanced the gainers with 14.69%, while Abu Dhabi National Takaful Company headed the decliners with 9.52%.
