DEWA strengthens ties with Royal Danish Consulate-General

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, DEWA, has welcomed Morten Siem Lynge, Consul-General of the Royal Danish Consulate in Dubai, as part of diplomatic and consular visits to DEWA.

During the meeting, they discussed enhancing cooperation between the two parties, exchanging experiences, and reviewing the latest developments in energy. This comes within the framework of diplomatic and consular visits to DEWA.

Al Tayer welcomed the Consul-General and explained the importance of cooperation between DEWA and Danish companies for the benefit of both sides.

Al Tayer presented DEWA’s most important development projects and strategic initiatives in Dubai, which support the vision of the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. DEWA’s projects support the UAE Vision 2021, and the Dubai Plan 2021. The Dubai Plan 2021 includes ambitious initiatives and development projects that combine economic growth with sustainable energy and the environment, to ensure a green economy.

The Danish Consul-General commended DEWA’s efforts and its role in promoting sustainable development in Dubai and thanked Al Tayer for his warm welcome.
