City Cement appoints new board member

Riyadh — Mubasher: City Cement Company’s shareholders approved the appointment of Abdulaziz bin Abdullatif Al Dulaijan to a newly created position on the board of directors.

The decision was reached during an ordinary general meeting (OGM) held via modern technology on 3 August 2026.

The appointment is effective from 3 August 2026 and will continue until the conclusion of the current board term on 18 June 2029.

According to the regulatory filing, the resolution received an approval rate of 91.51% from the attending shareholders, while 7.02% of the votes were abstentions.

The meeting, which commenced at 18:30, recorded a quorum of 27.05%. Several board members and committee heads attended the session, including the chairmen of the executive, audit, and remuneration and nominations committees.

The assembly was conducted at the company headquarters in Riyadh to address the single agenda item regarding the board expansion and the selection of the new member from among the candidates.
