Chinese firm wins Emaar’s AED 1.29bn towers construction bid

Dubai – Mubasher: Beijing-based China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) has won a contract worth AED 1.29 billion ($351 million) to build the Downtown Views II towers for Emaar Properties.

The project will be constructed near to the Downtown Dubai development and Dubai International Financial Centre and will feature three high-rise residential buildings with 1,509 serviced apartment units, according to Dubai-based Meed magazine.

UAE’s Archgroup Consultants, Canada’s Norr Group, and WME Engineering Consultants are the consultants of the project, the leading MENA business platform added.

In August, China State was awarded an AED 512 million ($140 million) contract by Emirati developer Damac Properties to build a tower at the Aykon City development.
