Chinese contractor to win AED 3.67bn world’s tallest tower contract

Dubai – Mubasher: China State Construction Engineering Co. on Thursday announced that it is set to win a construction contract for Dubai Creek Tower, which is developed by Emaar Proprieties.

Situated on 6 square kilometres with a total cost of AED 3.67 billion, Dubai Creek Tower is planned to be the world’s tallest tower.

The Chinese developer has submitted its bid for the AED 5.5 billion contract in January 2018, according to MEED magazine.

The China-based construction firm accepted a group of terms, which was refused by other companies, MEED reported.
