China's CDB earmarks $3bn for Egypt's projects

Cairo – Mubasher: The China Development Bank (CDB) has allocated $3 billion for a slew of projects in Egypt, Almal News reported, citing the bank’s main representative in the North African nation.

The Chinese bank will inject $2 billion of its total financing into the New Administrative Capital, he said.

The CDB’s current project portfolio in the Arab world's most populous country amounts to $2.3 billion, versus implemented projects worth $2.6 billion last year.
