Cherry Trading registers 8% higher net profits in H1-26

Riyadh – Mubasher: Cherry Trading Company generated a net profit of SAR 34.66 million for the first half (H1) of 2026, an annual growth of 8.18% compared to SAR 32.04 million.

The company attributed the growth to strong revenue performance, improved operational efficiency, and disciplined cost management.

Total revenue for the six-month period reached SAR 317.70 million, up 42.45% from SAR 223.03 million a year earlier. This growth was primarily fueled by a 211% surge in used car sales and a 15% increase in leasing revenues.

Earnings per share (EPS) for H1-26 stood at SAR 1.16, compared to SAR 1.07 in the previous year. Total shareholders' equity reached SAR 604.87 million.

Likewise, the operating profit for the period jumped by 7.42% to SAR 66.24 million.

For the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, the company recorded a net profit of SAR 16.28 million, a slight decrease of 1.83% from SAR 16.59 million in Q2-25.

Quarterly revenue climbed by 39.77% to SAR 169.25 million, supported by a 137% rise in used car sales and a 40% increase in short-term leasing following fleet expansions and new branch openings.
