Chemanol’s board appoints new CEO

Riyadh – Mubasher: The board of directors of Methanol Chemicals Company (Chemanol) has approved appointing Sabri Abdullah Al Ghamdi as the new CEO.

Al Ghamdi will keep his responsibilities as a board member and a managing director, according to a bourse filing.

Before his current positions, Al Ghamdi assumed many roles as a board member in different sectors.

He enjoys a 30-year experience in the petrochemical industries and project development sector.

It is worth highlighting that Chemanol shifted to losses in the first nine months (9M) of 2023, recording a net loss of SAR 83.62 million, versus a net profit of SAR 222.38 million in 9M-22.
