CI affirms five Emirati banks' ratings; outlook 'stable'

UAE - Mubasher: Capital Intelligence (CI), the international credit rating agency, has affirmed the ratings of five Emirati banks, with a stable outlook.

The banks comprise Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), the Commercial Bank International (CBI), Invest Bank, the Arab Bank for Investment and Foreign Trade (Al Masraf), and the National Bank of Umm Al Qaiwain (NBQ).

The CI Ratings has affirmed the long-term and short-term foreign currency ratings of ADCB at 'A+' and 'A1', respectively, while the bank's financial strength rating (FSR) was maintained at 'BBB+'.

Meanwhile, the international rating agency affirmed the CBI's long-term and short-term foreign currency ratings at 'BBB+' and 'A2', respectively, while these ratings were maintained for Invest Bank at 'BBB-' and 'A3', respectively.

Al Masraf's long-term and short-term foreign currency ratings were confirmed at 'A' and 'A1', respectively, while the NBQ's long-term and short-term foreign currency ratings were maintained at 'A-' and 'A2', respectively.
