CBE sells EUR 695m T-bills

Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced the sale of Euro-denominated treasury bills (T-bills) worth EUR 695 million with a maturity of 364 days in an auction held on Monday.

The yield on T-bills ranges between 1.4% and 1.45%, with an average yield of 1.43%, according to data published on the CBE’s official website.

The CBE received bids with a total value of EUR 851.5 million from 49 investors.
