Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) worth EGP 65 billion through two auctions on Sunday, 10 August.
The first issue was valued at EGP 25 billion, holding a tenor of 91 days until 11 November 2025, according to official data.
The second offering stood at EGP 40 billion and will mature in 273 days on 12 May 2026.
On 7 August, the CBE issued T-bills at a total value of EGP 80 billion through two offerings.
