Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned fixed treasury bonds (T-bonds) through one issue on Monday, 19 February 2024, at a value of EGP 1.50 billion.
The semi-annual coupon will mature in three years on 20 February 2027, according to official data.
In addition, the CBE issued floating-rate T-bonds worth EGP 1 billion through one auction, which will mature in five years on 20 February 2029.
The financial authority also offered zero-coupon T-bonds standing at EGP 1.50 billion through one tranche. It carries a 728-day maturity period until 17 February 2026.
Last week, the central bank CBE unveiled T-bonds as well as a floating-rate note at a combined value of EGP 3 billion.
