Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait opened Sunday’s trading session with a mixed performance after the All Share Market index inched up 0.08%, whereas the Premier Market index and the Main Market index fell 0.13% and 0.01%, respectively.
By 09:17 am Kuwait time, the bourse's trading volume reached 7.3 million shares exchanged at a turnover of KWD 1.1 million through 330 transactions.
The oil and gas sector topped the bourse’s gainers adding 0.53%, while the basic materials segment headed the market’s losers falling 1.7%.
Kuwait Finance House’s (KFH) stock, which rose 0.34%, led Boursa Kuwait in terms of liquidity with KWD 177,630, while Kuwait and Middle East Financial Investment’s (KMWFIC) stock, which levelled up 4.8%, spearheaded the market in terms of trading volume with 757,200 shares.
