Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session with a mixed performance, as the All-Share and Premier markets went up 0.21% and 0.36%, respectively, while the Main Market retreated 0.08%.
By 9:25 am Kuwait time, the telecom segment topped the gainers with 0.67%, while the basic materials sector led the decliners with 0.4%.
Gulf Investment House (GIH) headed the winners with a rise of 10.5%, while Bayan Investment led the losers with 6.1%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 2.4 million after 6.3 million shares were exchanged through 650 transactions.
The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) was the most active stock on which 1.16 million shares were traded at a value of approximately KWD 938,820. The stock added 0.5%.
