Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait registered a mixed performance during the last week of August that followed Eid Al Adha holiday.
The All-Share Market retreated by 1.46% or 76.23 points to reach 5,132.31 points on 30 August compared to 5,208.54 points on 16 August.
The Premier Market lost 2.23% or 120 points to 5,261.82 points when compared to 5,381.57 points.
Meanwhile, the Main Market gained 0.06% or 3.1 points to 4,897.46 points from 4,984.32 points.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover grew by 16.7% to KWD 94.23 million this week from KWD 80.74 million in the week ended on 16 August.
The trading volume decreased by 18.3% to 380.73 million shares from 465.87 million.
The number of transactions went up 0.45% to about 23,450 from nearly 23,340.
