Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Thursday’s trading session with a grouped increase for the third consecutive session in this week.
The benchmark price index added 0.55% or 36.08 points to 6,639.38 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.15% and 0.02%, respectively.
Financial services companies topped seven gainers with 0.8%, backed by Markaz which rose by 5.5%.
Meanwhile, telecom companies led three decliners with 0.7%, dragged by Ooredoo which lost 2.4%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 45.3% to KWD 19.82 million on Thursday from KWD 13.64 million in the previous session after the trading volume grew by 29.7% to 152.63 million shares from 117.67 million.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) posted the highest liquidity of KWD 2 million, closing at 600 fils.
Ithmaar was the most active stock on which 20.7 million shares were exchanged.
