Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session with a massive rise, as the All-Share index went up 0.16%, while the Main Market and the Premier market added 0.16%, and 0.15%, respectively.
By 9:45 am Kuwait time, the industrials sector inched up 0.8%, while the insurance segment fell 3.4%.
Kuwait and Middle East Financial Investment’s (KMEFIC) stock grew 5.4%, whereas the stock of Al Mudon International Real Estate (Al Mudon) slid 10%.
The bourse’s trading volume reached 18.7 million shares exchanged at a turnover of KWD 3.4 million through 895 transactions.
Kuwait Finance House’s (KFH) stock, up 0.17%, led Boursa Kuwait in terms of liquidity with KWD 695,500, while Aayan Leasing and Investment’s stock, which added 1.9%, topped in terms of traded volume after 4.8 million shares were exchanged.
