Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session with a massive drop.
By 9:41 am Kuwait time, as the All-Share Market index edged down 0.1%, the Main Market index retreated 0.14%, and the Premier Market index fell by 0.08%.
The basic materials segment led the decliners with 0.46%, while the financial services sector topped the gainers with 0.42%.
National Industries headed the losers with 8.3%, while Marakez topped the winners with a gain of 9.8%.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading value amounted to KWD 2.04 million after 16.42 million shares were exchanged through 647 transactions.
National Industries Group was the most active stock on which 4.53 million shares were traded at a value of about KWD 714,500. The stock added 5.4%.
