Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session on a mixed note, after the All-Share Market index and the Premier Market index inched up 0.04% and 0.12%, respectively, whereas the Main Market index fell 0.14%.
By 10:03 am Kuwait time, the consumer services and basic materials sectors topped risers after growing 0.5% each.
The industrial sector led decliners falling 0.58%, while the insurance and consumer goods segments dipped 0.36% and 0.04%, respectively.
Kuwait Syrian Holding’s (KSHC) stock spearheaded gainers with 12.33%, while Boubyan International Industries Holding’s (BIIHC) stock headed fallers with 15%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 3.7 million after 37 million shares were exchanged through 1,130 transactions.
The stock of Kuwait Finance House’s (KFH), which rose 0.34%, generated the highest liquidity with KWD 795,800, while KSHC topped the market in terms of trading volume with 6.51 million shares.
