Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s trading session in decline for the second session in a row, as the All-Share, Main, and Premier markets retreated 0.61%, 0.18%, and 0.82%, respectively.
The telecom segment led eight decliners with 1.6%, while both the consumer goods and consumer services sectors were the only gainers with a rise of 1.52% and 0.43%, respectively.
Gulf Investment House (GIH) led the losers with a fall of 10%, while Marakez headed the winners with a gain of 8.4%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 7% to KWD 16.93 million on Monday from KWD 15.83 million in the previous session after the trading volume shrank by 12.6% to 70.64 million shares from 80.81 million.
Zain was the most active stock on which 8.03 million shares were traded at a value of KWD 3.85 million, the stock went down 2.5%.
