Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Tuesday’s trading session in green territory, encouraged by the increase of six sectors.
The Premier Market Index grew 53.66 points, or 1.03%, to finish at 5,278.52 points.
Meanwhile, the Main Market Index and the All Share Market Index went up 0.1% and 0.71%, respectively.
Boursa Kuwait’s market value declined 0.8% to KWD 28.78 billion ($95.14 billion) on Tuesday, compared to KWD 29.02 billion ($95.93 billion) on Monday.
By the end of the mid-week session, the bourse’s turnover decreased to KWD 15.09 million against KWD 19.39 million in the prior session after the trading volume retreated to 57.25 million shares from 71.19 million shares.
The banking sector topped the bourse’s gainers adding 1.11%, followed by the industrial and oil sectors, which levelled up 0.52% and 0.81%, respectively.
Kuwait Finance House’s (KFH) stock, which advanced 1.38%, led the market in terms of trading volume with 7.5 million shares, generating KWD 4.4 million in liquidity.
