Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Sunday, the first session of the week, with a mixed performance.
The All-Share and Premier markets inched up 0.19% and 0.36%, respectively, while the main market index shed 0.16%.
The insurance sector led gainers with 1.2%, while the technology sector was the worst performer with 6%.
Boubyan International Industries Holding’s stock topped risers after surging 35.6%, while the stock of Asiya Capital Investments Co led losers with 7.4%.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading volume increased 45.8% to 112.94 million shares, from 77.48 million on Thursday, while liquidity jumped 48.2%, reaching KWD 23.48 million, from KWD 15.84 million.
National Bank of Kuwait’s (NBK) stock, which added 1%, topped the market in terms of both trading volume and value after 9.73 million shares were exchanged, generating a turnover of KWD 8.19 million.
