Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s trading session in a negative territory, for the second session in a row, dragged by the fall of six sectors.
The All Share Market Index inched down 0.05%, while the Premier Market Index and the Main Market Index declined 0.03% and 0.01%, respectively.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover rose 1.1% to KWD 22 million on Monday, compared to KWD 21.76 million on Sunday, while trading volume increased by 8.8% to 93.76 million shares from 102.77 million in the previous session.
The consumer services stock topped the bourse’s decliners falling 2%. Meanwhile, the insurance sector headed the market’s gainers adding 1.9%.
By the end of the session, Kuwait Finance House’s (KFH) stock, which advanced 0.33%, led the bourse in terms of liquidity with KWD 4.12 million, while Aayan’s stock, which retreated 3.74%, topped the market in terms of trading volume with 9.44 million shares.
