Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Wednesday with a mixed performance, as the Premier Market edged up 0.06%, while both the All-Share and Main markets retreated 0.05% and 0.28%, respectively.
The consumer goods segment led seven decliners with 1.22%, while the oil and gas sector topped three gainers with 1.7%.
Al Mudon International led the losers with 10.3%, while Boubyan Industries topped the winners with 6.5%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank by 17.7% to KWD 18.5 million on Wednesday from KWD 22.49 million in the previous session after the trading volume decreased by 19.2% to 67.65 million shares from 83.7 million.
The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest liquidity of KWD 3.29 million, the stock added 0.62%.
Burgan Bank was the most active stock on which 4.96 million shares were traded, the stock fell 3.1%.
