Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Thursday’s trading session with an incline for the first time during this week.
The All-Share, Premier, and Main markets went up 0.33%, 0.11%, and 0.75%, respectively.
The consumer goods segment topped seven gainers with 1.2%, while the insurance sector led three decliners with 1.26%.
Al Mudon headed the winners with 11.52%, while Shuaiba Industrial led the losers with 9.6%.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity increased by 10.7% to KWD 20.48 million on Thursday compared to KWD 18.5 million in the previous session after the trading volume grew by 15.2% to 77.94 million shares from 67.65 million.
The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) recorded the highest turnover of KWD 4.74 million, the stock retreated 0.86%.
Ahli United Bank (AUB) – Bahrain was the most active stock on which 9.47 million shares were exchanged, the stock went up 2%.
