Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Thursday’s session in the red zone; the price index retreated 0.16%, or 9.6 points, to 6,186.94 points.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices edged down 0.03% and 0.04%, respectively.
The financial services segment led six decliners with 0.91%, dragged by Inovest which lost 11.9% to be the top loser.
The real estate sector fell by 0.48% in line with the 5.9% drop of Kuwait Real Estate.
Meanwhile, the consumer services segment topped five gainers with 1.5%, backed by Muntazahat which added 11.11% to top the winners.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading value decreased by 18.2% to KWD 10.98 million on Thursday from KWD 13.42 million on Wednesday, after the trading volume grew by 66.2% to 88.37 million shares from 53.18 million.
Inovest was the most active stock on which 25.9 million shares were traded through 351 transactions at a total value of KWD 2.28 million.
