Bawan Company records over SAR 1bn revenue in Q1-26 on back of oil, gas sector

Riyadh – Mubasher: Bawan Company generated revenue worth SAR 1.03 billion during the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, signaling a 13.31% increase from SAR 910.17 million in Q1-25.

The company elaborated that the annual revenue growth is mainly due to “the recognition of revenues from the oil and gas industries sector for the entire current quarter, compared to the recognition of revenues from the sector starting from 13 February 2025, for the same quarter of the previous year (the date of legal transfer of ownership), in addition to the increase in revenues from the oil and gas industries sector and the plastics industries sector.”

Bawan added that the increase was despite the decrease in revenue of metal, wood, and electric industries sectors in Q1-26 as compared to Q1-25, according to a bourse disclosure.

Moreover, the company achieved net profits of SAR 51.92 million during January-March 2026. The net income was 65.17% lower than SAR 149.11 million in the same quarter of 2025.

The earnings per share (EPS) plunged to SAR 0.87 in Q1-26 when compared to SAR 2.49 in Q1-25.

On a quarterly basis, the net profits in Q1-26 reflected a leap of 290.19% from SAR 13.30 million in Q4-25, while the revenue declined by 6.61% from SAR 1.10 billion.
