Batic names Majed Al Eissa as new CEO

Riyadh – Mubasher: The board of directors of Batic Investments and Logistics Co has appointed Majed bin Abdullah Al Eissa as the new CEO effective from 22 September 2019.

The new appointment came after the period during which Turki Al Thunayan was performing as the CEO has ended, according to a disclosure to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on Tuesday.

Al Eissa holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from King Saud University in addition to a higher certificate in industrial management from Cambridge University.

Moreover, he had assumed several positions in the Saudi Industrial Development Fund and Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC) over 20 years, in addition to chairing other industrial and investing firms.

In July 2019, Batic accepted the resignation of Fahad Al Qatami from his position as the CEO and appointed Turki Al Thunayan as an acting CEO.
