Cairo – Mubasher: Banque Misr is currently considering a credit facility worth EGP 35 billion for several projects, vice chairman Akef El Maghraby said.
The loan will finance a number of projects in the sectors of petroleum, contracting, transport, and food industry, El Maghraby added in a phone call to Mubasher.
He projected that most of the projects will be approved prior to the end of this year.
In August, El Maghraby said that Egypt's second-largest state-owned lender aimed to borrow $750 million from international banks and institutions in fiscal year 2018/2019.
