Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index added 31.3 points, or 0.63%, to close at 4,965.74 points on Sunday, encouraged by the banks and the telecommunication sectors.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 32.432 million shares, while the market’s liquidity amounted to AED 128.347 million.
The telecommunication sector and its only stock, Etisalat, went up 1.38% each.
The banks sector added 0.73%, as United Arab Bank (UAB) soared 4.17% and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) gained 1.65%, while First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) went up 0.83%.
The real estate sector inched up 0.03%, as RAK Properties increased by 0.49%.
On the flipside, the energy sector declined 1.61%, as Dana Gas lost 2.52%.
Market capitalisation gained AED 3.41 billion, recording AED 493.215 billion.
