Bahrain's BMB reports 84% fall in Q4

Mubasher: Bahrain Middle East Bank (BMB) posted net earnings of BHD 30,000 ($79,000) for the fourth quarter of 2015, dropping 84% compared with BHD 494,000 ($1.3 million) in the year-ago period.

Full-year net earnings also grew 12.2% year-on-year to BHD 1.93 million ($5.07 million) from BHD 1.72 million ($4.52 million).

The earnings per share (EPS) rose from 1.87 cents to 2.10 cents.

The board proposed withholding dividends for 2015.
