Arab News: Bahrain’s minister of transportation and telecommunication has announced the launch of the region’s first data center park in partnership with the telecommunication company stc Bahrain.
The park will be developed on 55,000 square meters of land in Al-Qurain, the Bahrain News Agency reported.
Considered one of the region’s largest technology projects, the park aims to build an integrated digital center in the Middle East and invest in advanced technologies, the minister said.
Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed added that the new establishment contributes to Bahrain’s digital economy in line with its national Economic Vision 2030.
