Mubasher: The main index of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) lost 1.61% or 21.8 points week-on-week to close at 1,334.42 points by the week ended on 20 April.
The turnover increased to total BHD 6.33 million this week from BHD 4.45 million a week ago. Similarly, the trading volume increased to 73 million shares from 18 million in the past week.
The banks segment dropped 2.32% in line with the fall of Ithmaar Holding which lost 8.82%.
The investment sector levelled down by 1.63%, dragged by Esterad which fell by 10%.
BMB was the most active stock this week, with a volume of 61.1 million shares traded at a value of BHD 3.1 million.
