Mubasher: President of Bahrain’s Customs, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa discussed with the Deputy Head of the UK Border Force, Barbara Wilson, and Deputy Head of e-portals Sarah Alexander boosting bilateral cooperation.
The meeting focused on the strong ties between the two countries and the importance to enhance cooperation with partners in the world for the best economic interests, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
The officials were briefed about the Economic Operator Programme and the Customs Security Directorate.
Moreover, the British representatives visited the Khalifa bin Salman Port and the Land Ports Customs Security Directorate at the King Fahad Causeway to learn about implemented systems and the latest development in customs clearance.
