Baazeem’s net profits rise slightly in 9M-23, decline in Q3

Riyadh – Mubasher: Baazeem Trading Company reported a marginal increase of 0.41% in net profit after Zakat and tax to SAR 17.55 million in the first nine months (9M) of 2023, compared to SAR 17.48 million in the same period of 2022.

Revenues declined by 0.43% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 195.24 million in 9M-23 from SAR 196.09 million, according to the income statements.

The earnings per share (EPS) remained unchanged at SAR 1.73 as of 30 September 2023, when compared with the corresponding period in 2022. 

Financial Results for Q3-23

In the third quarter (Q3) of 2023, the Saudi company recorded a 3.67% decrease in net profit after Zakat and tax to SAR 3.89 million, versus SAR 4.04 million in Q3-22.

The revenues dropped by 4.35% YoY to SAR 60.45 million in July-September 2023 from SAR 63.20 million.

On a quarterly basis, the Q3-23 profits fell by 17.44% from SAR 4.71 million in Q2-23, while the revenues rose by 1.86% from SAR 59.35 million.
