Manama, Feb. 18 (BNA): Second deputy chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Mohammed Alkooheji, has received at Bait Al Tijjar senior adviser and head of Trade Section of the Riyadh-based European Union’s delegation accredited to Bahrain, Alberto Martelli, accompanied by Trade Affairs official Mohammed Zakzouk.
They discussed the business relation between the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council in general, and focused on the prospect of business between the EU and Bahrain.
The meeting also mulled stepping-up cooperation between Bahrain Chamber and the EU delegation office and mustering efforts to empower Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
Martelli encouraged local SMEs to join the Enterprise Europe Network and gain access to the world’s largest business and innovation support network.
