Riyadh - Mubasher: Middle East Pharmaceutical Industries Company (Avalon Pharma) announced a net profit of SAR 55.70 million for the first half (H1) of 2026, marking a 25.99% increase from SAR 44.21 million during the same period in 2025.
The company’s revenue for the six-month period reached SAR 266.61 million, up from SAR 215.02 million a year earlier.
For the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, net profit rose by 16.08% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 28.80 million. Quarterly revenue grew to SAR 136.48 million, supported by a 27.5% increase in private sector sales, which reached SAR 99.80 million.
Avalon Pharma attributed this growth to an expanded customer base, improved sales performance, and strategic pricing discipline.
Operational efficiency also improved, with the manufacturing capacity utilization rate reaching 87% in H1-26, a 14-point increase over the previous year.
Export revenues contributed SAR 18 million during Q2-26, representing 13.20% of total sales.
The earnings per share (EPS) for the half-year period rose to SAR 1.59, compared to SAR 1.26 in H1-25. Total shareholders' equity stood at SAR 445.55 million as of 30 June 2026.
Last April, Avalon Pharma appointed Ahmad Shaher Al Tabbaa as the board’s Chairman for the next four years.
