Riyadh - Mubasher: Astra Industrial Group recorded 9.80% year-on-year (YoY) higher net profits at SAR 192.06 million for the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, compared to SAR 174.92 million in Q2-25.
The company attributed the growth to higher gross profit across all segments and a reduction in financing costs, despite a decline in steel industry revenues.
Quarterly revenue reached SAR 775.87 million, up 8.50% year-on-year (YoY) from SAR 715.11 million, supported by strong performance in the pharmaceutical sector.
Operating profit for the quarter fell by 4.66% to SAR 194.13 million when compared to SAR 203.61 million in the prior-year period.
For the first six months (6M) of 2026, net profit rose by 5.31% to SAR 365.20 million, up from SAR 346.80 million in the first half of the previous year.
Six-month sales totaled SAR 1.57 billion, a slight increase of 1.16% from SAR 1.55 billion.
Earnings per share (EPS) for the half-year period improved to SAR 4.57 from SAR 4.33.
Total shareholders' equity, excluding non-controlling interests, stood at SAR 3.08 billion as of 30 June 2026, reflecting an annual jump of 16.91% increase.
In Q1-26, the company’s net profits attributable to the shareholders rose by 0.73% to SAR 173.13 million from SAR 171.87 million in Q1-25.
