Riyadh – Mubasher: Russia-based Novatek and Saudi Arabian Oil Co, known as Saudi Aramco, have signed a collaboration agreement, Russia's energy minister Alexander Novak said on Thursday.
Novatek is deemed the largest non-state natural gas producer in Russia.
The Middle Eastern oil giant and Novatek are discussing cooperation in liquified natural gas (LNG) project-2 in Russia's Arctic set to start production in 2022/2023, Novak added.
The Russian minister noted that an agreement may be signed between the two countries in the coming period.
