Cairo – Mubasher: Arafa for Investment and Consultancies announced that its 98.2%-owned Baird Group has received the exclusive rights to design, manufacture, distribute, and sell Ted Baker -branded products in the UK, Europe, and other markets for three years.
This deal comes following the restructuring of the UK-based retailer Baird Group’s operations amid the current challenges facing the UK market, according to a bourse disclosure on Wednesday.
The Chairman and Managing Director of Arafa Holding, Alaa Arafa, said that the deal reassures confidence in the group’s investments and opens the door for more exports through Arafa’s industrial base in Egypt.
