UAE - Mubasher: Arada has appointed UAE-based Engineering Contracting Company as the main contractor for W Residences at Dubai Harbour under the terms of AED 1.55 billion deal.
The partnership covers the construction of three towers delivering 490 branded residences with premium amenities, according to a press release.
Initial enabling works, including excavation and piling, have already started following the AED 51 million contract awarded to APCC Piling and Marine Contracting.
Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, the CEO of Arada, stated: “This appointment marks a major milestone in the development of one of the UAE’s most eagerly awaited waterfront destinations.”
W Residences will enjoy views of The Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, Bluewaters Island, and the open ocean.
The AED 5 billion project, operated by Marriott International, will feature apartments, duplexes, and rooftop penthouses with private pools.
The master plan, developed by Shamal Holding, also includes high-end retail, dining, hospitality, a cruise terminal, and yachting amenities.
Facilities include Dubai’s longest infinity pool, a 40,000-square-foot fitness center, a residents’ lounge, a cinema, a music studio, games and sports rooms, co-working spaces, and fine dining outlets.
“Offering luxury marina living for residents looking to experience a positive, fulfilling and active lifestyle, the striking architectural design of W Residences at Dubai Harbour will perfectly complement its surroundings while offering breathtaking views of both the Arabian Gulf and Dubai’s iconic skyline,” the CEO added.
In October 2025, Arada awarded a AED 397 million contract to Modern Building Contracting Company for the construction of the Rove Aljada Hotel and Rove Home Aljada branded residences.
