Mubasher: The leading events, media and research company Arabnet on Sunday has announced that it will host the third edition of Arabnet Kuwait from 7 to 9 October.
Arabnet Kuwait will host Founders’ Day for the first time this year under the auspice of Boubyan Bank.
Held at Courtyard by Marriott, the three-day event will see the attendance of more than 40 exhibitors and over 90 speakers specialised in digital media services (Choueiri Group), and representatives from Boubyan Bank, Middle East ride-hailing app Careem, SME, and Wave Maker, according to an official statement.
“It will engage the participants with two tracks of hands-on workshops covering entrepreneurship and cutting-edge technology,” the statement added.
The event will also see discussions in the second and third days about digital media and advertising, innovation, entrepreneurship, e-commerce, and financial technology and banking.
Alex Pitt from Mustard Seed, Snap Inc’s Jake Thomas, and Ripples’ Navin Gupta will be among the attendants.
“Arabnet Kuwait will also feature two competitions to highlight emerging talent and innovators: The Startup Battle, which will select the top 3 startups from Kuwait to compete against the best in the region at the Startup Championship (for a chance to win $20,000),” the statement concluded.
Arabnet is a major company which organises large digital business events which take place annually in Dubai, Beirut, Riyadh, and Kuwait.
It also publishes news and analysis in the digital sector on its news website and prints 'Arabnet Quarterly' magazine.
