Arabian Cement’s profits exceed SAR 54m in Q1-24

Riyadh – Mubasher: The net profits of Arabian Cement Company increased by 10.16% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 54.20 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2024 from SAR 49.20 million.

Revenues declined by 5.20% to SAR 227.60 million in the January-March 2024 period from SAR 240.10 million in Q1-23, according to the interim financials.

The earnings per share (EPS) hit SAR 0.54 in the first three months (3M) of 2024, up from SAR 0.49 a year earlier.

On a quarterly basis, the Q1-24 net profits climbed by 65.24% from SAR 32.80 million in Q4-23, while the revenues rose by 1.06% from SAR 225.20 million.

In the 12-month period that ended on 31 December 2023, the Tadawul-listed firm achieved SAR 139.60 million in net profit, lower by 22.87% than SAR 181 million in 2022.
