Arabia Insurance unveils 71% plunge in 9M-25 net profits

Riyadh - Mubasher: Arabia Insurance Cooperative Company logged 71.32% lower net profits after Zakat attributable to the owners at SAR 9.92 million in the first nine months (9M) of 2025, compared with SAR 34.62 million in 9M-24.

Insurance revenues declined by 10.67% to SAR 589.36 million in the January-September 2025 period from SAR 532.53 million in 9M-24, according to the financial results.

The earnings per share (EPS) amounted to SAR 0.19 in 9M-25, reflecting an annual drop from SAR 0.65.

Financial Statements for Q3

During the third quarter (Q3) of 2025, the company’s net profits after Zakat attributable signaled a 97.38% year-on-year (YoY) drop to SAR 354,000 from SAR 13.56 million.

In the three-month period that ended on 30 September 2025, the revenues jumped by 33.64% to SAR 220.12 million from SAR 164.70 million in Q3-24.

Quarterly, the Q3-25 net profits plummeted by 93.09% compared to SAR 5.12 million in Q2-25, whereas the revenues declined by 11.30% from SAR 197.76 million.

In June 2025, Arabia Insurance and United Cooperative Assurance Company signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) to evaluate a potential merger between the two firms.
