Mubasher: The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) has announced that the Arab region’s fertiliser exports to Brazil amounted to around $518 million during the first six months of 2018.
Kuwait has topped the exporters’ list with $58.64 million, followed by Saudi Arabia with $48.13 million, the UAE with $42.87 million, and Egypt with $24.88 million.
The high volume of fertilisers exported from the Arab region reflects the strong relations maintained by GCC countries and Egypt among others, the ABCC highlighted.
“Brazil continues to express its commitment towards working closely with countries in the Arab world in order to help increase mutual trade across all markets, including fertilizers,” Michel Alaby, secretary general and CEO of ABCC, said.
