Alvarez & Marsal expands tax service offerings in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Global professional services company Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) launched a dedicated Transfer Pricing (TP) & Pillar Two advisory offering to expand its tax practice in Saudi Arabia.

The new offering provides clients with end-to-end support across transfer pricing policy design, documentation, compliance, dispute resolution, tax structuring, and BEPS Pillar Two advisory, the company revealed in a statement yesterday.

A&M tax practice in Saudi Arabia, launched in 2025, is designed to be a refreshing alternative to traditional advisory models. It offers a suite of Zakat and domestic and international tax services to support businesses in a rapidly changing tax environment.

The company affirmed its commitment to building a Saudi-anchored, senior-led platform with more than 20 professionals in the Kingdom, including two Saudi Managing Directors: Danial Khalid and Abir Mukherjee.

By adding a fully operational TP and Pillar Two advisory team, A&M aims to meet increasing client demand for audit-independent, conflict-free tax advisory services amid rapid regulatory change. With an additional two GCC-national Managers, the team brings clients regulator-side experience, deep technical expertise, and the ability to operate as a fully functional advisory unit from day one, further strengthening A&M’s commitment to building locally rooted capability with regional insight.

Craig McAree, Managing Director and Head of A&M’s Saudi Tax practice, said: “Establishing a comprehensive TP & Pillar Two offering in Riyadh furthers our mission of combining deep domestic knowledge, local senior-led execution, audit independence, and global insight to deliver end-to-end solutions. As Saudi Arabia’s tax landscape enters a new phase, TP & Pillar Two capabilities are increasingly central to cross-border business strategy.”

A&M’s Tax practice specializes in a wide range of areas, including zakat, direct and indirect taxes, and transfer pricing. It supports tax policy, dispute resolution, M&A tax support, cross-border structuring and advisory, Pillar 2 assessment and implementation, and tax function transformation through technology.
