Alpha Dhabi sees surge in 2021 profits

Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: The net profits attributable to Alpha Dhabi Holding jumped to AED 3.18 billion in 2021, compared to AED 223.77 million in 2020, according to the company's consolidated financials for the year ended 31 December 2021.

The company generated revenues of AED 18.84 billion in 2021, up 400% from AED 3.80 billion in the earlier year.

The earnings per share (EPS) settled at AED 0.45 last year, versus AED 0.90 in 2020.

The CEO of Alpha Dhabi Holding, Hamad Al Ameri, said: "Our growth plans are underpinned by a solid pipeline of investment opportunities across our core sectors and a measured approach, which leave us strongly positioned to deploy capital effectively in the pursuit of building scale and enhancing diversification across our growing portfolio."

It is noteworthy to mention that during the first nine months (9M) of 2021, the company reported AED 2.155 billion net profits attributable to the owners, compared to AED 186.252 million in the year-ago period.
